Although born in Newcastle Upon Tyne, Jane grew up on the South Coast of England. Even as a young child, she was passionate about all sports and athletics and by the age of 18, she had become a regular in her local gym. A year later, she embarked on her 4 year career in the Ambulance service before leaving to join the iconic British cult TV show 'Gladiators'.

At just 24 years old, Jane soon became a UK household name with sport and Gladiators fans alike. During the following 5 years performing as the Gladiator 'Rio', Jane had an astonishing win rate and quickly earned the title 'Undefeated Queen of the Duel'.

Following Gladiators, Jane continued her career in the spotlight as a fitness model and sport journalist. From 2001 to 2016 she established her self as one of the most highly respected motorcycle journalists in the world, and became the weekly Motorcycle Correspondent for the Sunday Times, The Sun Newspaper and The UK Press Association, amongst other collaborative roles within the motorsport and lifestyle industries. Jane enjoyed an incredibly fulfilling career as a successful television presenter and host for the British Superbikes, the Isle of Man TT Races and numerous other sport and lifestyle related television shows. She has also co-founded a unique and very successful Skateboarding concept store.

Throughout the years Jane has always maintained a passionate interest in physical fitness and mental health. Her depth of knowledge as a Strength, Nutrition and Mindset Coach together with her energetic personality and positive attitude offers truly unique and personalised support to her clients. They see not only incredible physical transformations but also experience a newfound confidence and mental resilience that extends far beyond the fitness studio.
